-Joan:I wanted to ask you, I would like to put in a request now for a few days off the second week of January.
-Lane:But you have New Year's off.
-Joan:My husband's a doctor. His schedule's not flexible.
-Lane: Why don't you go home and ask him how he would feel about some nurse asking for a holiday immediately following a holiday?
-Joan:I would be happy with two days.
-Lane: Our financial planning and expense budgets for next year, I'll need you to assist me.
-Joan: We can do it now. No one Knows why we're here anyway.
-Lane: Because there's work to do. And I understand that all men are dizzy and powerless to refuse you, but consider me the incorruptible exception. Fried chicken indeed.
